1.) Write either a technology layer or a literacy layer for your unit/lesson plan.

This is a 3/4 of a page to 1 page document in which you describe EITHER

1.) A digital tool (such as the ones introduced in our last class) to help your students work with the content/skills/materials you have already described in your plan. What program might you use? What is your rationale for using it? How might you assess this work with a digital technology?

2.) A literacy layer: review some of the strategies introduced 2 classes ago, strategies that are designed to support students as they work with the content/skills/materials introduced in your class and also to support their literacy skills. Also, remember the work we did around vocabulary in math (DaVinci Code). For example, what are some strategies you might put in place to help students work with the vocabulary you have included in your unit/lesson plans? How might you use a strategy like writing in a journal to support your work with students? What is your rationale for using this strategy or strategies?
